The mahurat of two upcoming Bengali films namely Babushona and Apanjon took place recently.

Both films will be directed by Anshuman Pratyush.

The difficulties of single parenting and how it affects one’s life will be covered in the movie titled Apanjon. Being a single parent involves wearing numerous hats and shouldering a variety of duties. It’s like working three full-time jobs at once. And when kids are young and separations are messy, this is especially true. Anshuman wishes to depict that in his movie. Jeetu portrays a single father named Parthib, and Ritabhari plays a single mother named Rupa. When Rupa and Parthib cross paths, a mature friendship develops. They fall in love with one another, but the social expectations raise a crucial issue. Can two single parents have a love relationship? In addition to society, they must consider their own children. Will it be accepted?

Ritabhari Chakraborty and Jeetu Kamal will be seen pairing up for the first time in this film. Paayel Sarkar will be seen in a pivotal role in this film.

Child artists Bilash and Udita will portray the role of the two kids.

The shoot will begin later this month. It will be shot in different parts of London and Kolkata.

Babushona will see the pairing of Srabanti Chatterjee and Jeetu Kamal for the first time. It is an action-comedy movie.

The story is about Babu who is a kidnapper. This character will be portrayed by Jeetu Kamal. He runs an IT company to hide his other work as a kidnapper. Srabanti will be seen in the character of Shona. She is a thief by profession. But she introduces herself as police. Their life takes a turn when a child is kidnapped in London and they become involved in it. What happens next?

Paayel Sarkar, Alexandra Taylor, Sagnik Chattopadhyay, Bilash Dey, and others will be seen in other pivotal roles.

The shoot for the film will start in London soon.

With two amazing films announced, Bengali audiences will be in for a treat when the films will be released.
