JW Marriott Kolkata has come up with a seasonal winter outlet ‘ANGAAR by Alfresco’. Angaar (fire/flames) can be traced back to the times when Afghan invaders enjoyed grilling fresh meat on the fire, while it hung wrapped on their swords.

With a unique old-world charm and open-air seating, Angaar is located within the confines of JW Marriott Kolkata. Complimenting the wonderful ambiance, guests can enjoy a musical gathering with old classics, progressive and techno. Patrons can witness live musical gigs by some of the tops and renowned on ‘Curated weekends’.

Kebabs are said to be a prominent part of the Peshawari menu, and Angaar brings together an array of these delectable kebabs cooked with Lucknawi spices in the traditional Awadhi slow cooking techniques. The elaborate menu offers a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian kebabs.
