The press conference for the film Manikbabur Megh took place in the presence of the director Abhinandan Banerjee, Chandan Sen, producer duo Monalisa Mukherji and Bauddhayan Mukherji at the 27^th Kolkata International Film Festival.

This is the debut feature film of the director. It is the story of a film named Manik who lives in Kolkata. He is a loner by nature. He lives with his sick father and has an alarm clock with him. Manik’s life is uneventful and revolves around his plants, the strays he feeds, the ants, the spider, and the house lizard.

His father passes away one day. He gets a month’s notice to vacate the rented home. He meets someone who would change his life forever. He meets a cloud. What unravels next is the love story of a man and a cloud.

The screenplay is by Abhinandan Banerjee.

The editor of the film is Abhro Banerjee.

The music of the film is by Subhajit Mukherjee.

The cast of the film consists of Chandan Sen, Debesh Roy Chowdhury, Bratya Basu, Nimai Ghosh, and Arun Guhathakurta.

The production company for the film was Little Lamb Films.
