The largest hospital network in Eastern India, Manipal Hospitals, has opened a state-of-the-art First-Aid Centre at the renowned Tolly Club in Kolkata, further solidifying its leadership in healthcare and dedication to preventive medicine. This program is a major step towards promoting holistic well-being and guaranteeing emergency preparedness on the ground.

The First-Aid Centre was officially inaugurated by Dr. Ayanabh Debgupta, Regional Chief Operating Officer – East, Manipal Hospitals,Mr. Partha Sarathi Barman, President of Tolly Club, Kolkata along with the dignitaries from the hospital group and esteemed members of the Tolly Club.

The club’s community enthusiastically participated in the launch event, which was well received. Every day, the facility will be open from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

By providing prompt first-aid and stabilisation before transferring patients to a hospital, particularly in emergencies, the centre will serve club members, employees, and guests with immediate medical needs on-site.

Manipal Hospitals will lead many wellness programs all year long as part of its continuing partnership with Tolly Club. These will concentrate on improving club members’ lifestyles and preventative healthcare. As the club’s official healthcare partner, the hospital will also provide assistance during sporting events. A dedicated ambulance will be sent out for each event to guarantee prompt medical attention when necessary.

In the future, Manipal Hospitals intends to regularly conduct health education programs for club members.
