With the 8th iteration of its signature charity run, Run to Give, Marriott International is back with a more open and revamped version known as Road to Give 2022, which encourages participants from across its South Asian hotel portfolio to embrace all forms of movement beyond running via walking, cycling, swimming, and others. On November 27, 2022, JW Marriott Kolkata, The Westin Rajarhat Kolkata, and Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata collaborated to host this yearly marathon.

This charity run, which is a regular event on the calendar for Marriott South Asia, is evidence of the company’s dedication to creating a culture that prioritizes the well-being of its employees and encourages them to give back to the communities in which they operate. This year, Road to Give 2022 had committed to lending support to 143 Marriott International hotels and resorts in South Asia that will band together to raise money for RISING STAR OUTREACH OF INDIA. This is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people and their families to overcome the stigma associated with leprosy and to live healthy, productive lives through quality education, medical care, and community. This seven-day event will take place from November 26 to December 3, 2022.

The run is open to Marriott associates, partners, families, friends, and guests with the goal of attracting participation from across the nation. Participants can take part in the event, lend support, take some time to reflect, take care of their bodies and minds, and most importantly, be a part of a larger, meaningful initiative that aims to usher in a more unified and responsible society.
