Maruti Suzuki India Limited introduced the BS6 S-CNG variant of country’s best-selling multi-purpose van, Eeco. Its introduction complies with the Company’s Mission Green Million, announced at Auto Expo 2020. Maruti Suzuki Eeco was launched in January 2010 and has crossed the mark of 6.7 lakh unit cumulative sales. It enjoys an undisputed leadership with 87% market share in the van segment, owing to its practical and spacious design, and powerful performance.

Maruti Suzuki started its green journey with the introduction of CNG vehicles over a decade back, which has today expanded to an unmatched range of green vehicles. Maruti Suzuki, under its ‘Mission  Green Million’, aims to sell the next 1 million green vehicles in a couple of years, spearheading their mass adoption across the country.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco BS6 CNG variant is equipped factory fitted S-CNG, and specially tuned and calibrated to deliver optimum performance and enhanced drivability across all kinds of terrains.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco is offered in a wide range of 12 variants with 5-seater, 7-seater, Cargo and Ambulance options. The overall dimension makes Eeco spacious enough to carry voluminous load safely in any weather, while its signature sliding doors eases entry and exit even in congested road conditions.  Regarded as the safest van in the segment, Eeco is equipped with driver airbag, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder, and high-speed alert system.
