Medi Safe Con 2023-Focus On Medication Safety In Rare Diseases
Peerless Hospital organized “MEDI SAFE CON 2023” at Altair Boutique Hotel.
Excellent minds came together to discuss “Medication Safety in Rare Diseases” at the Medication Safety Conference, the first of its kind in Eastern India.
The conference offered a distinctive forum for interaction between medical professionals from India, the United States, Sweden, Switzerland, and Singapore as well as chemists, nurses, students, and working professionals. The workshop was attended by doctors, working professionals, chemists, physicians, nurses, medico-legal specialists, and students.

The doctors highlighted that combined duties of medical personnel must be done to deal with problems like patient safety.
Dr. Apurba Ghosh said “Rare diseases are not talked about much. The government will say that malnutrition is a bigger problem than this. However, steps must be taken to deal with these rare diseases so that people can be saved and the medical bills can also be reduced”.
With such initiatives, patient safety will be enhanced for sure.
