MedSage, a certified wholesale and retail chemist and druggist company established in Kolkata, opened a new location next to Rampurhat Medical College’s Gate No. 2. The occasion was a major turning point in MedSage’s mission to provide communities in Bengal with high-quality healthcare services and infrastructure.

Two primary divisions will be the focus of the new Rampurhat branch:

1. MedSage IVD Services- MedSage is now growing into the development and operation of IVD (In-Vitro Diagnostics) units, building on its demonstrated expertise in healthcare infrastructure, which includes the successful establishment of 111 PSA Oxygen Plants under PM CARES during the COVID-19 pandemic. By acting as a one-stop wholesale hub for quick, safe, and efficient laboratory services, the branch hopes to guarantee accurate and fast healthcare delivery.

2. MedSage Hospitality- Under the same name, this section provides both the general public and healthcare professionals with clean, healthful, and reasonably priced food in an on-site cafeteria.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Dr. Rahul Banerjee, FCA, PhD, the driving force and spearhead of MedSage.

The branch was inaugurated by Dr. Prithwi Banerjee, MBBS (Hons), Junior Resident (Academic) at AIIMS Bhubaneswar and RMO, Gastroenterology at Belle Vue Clinic, Kolkata. Dr. Banerjee will oversee the General OPD services as well as the operational intricacies of the new branch.

Shamsul Kamelin’s efforts enabled the outreach to Rampurhat, and Ali Moosavi, Operational Head of MedSage for Europe and the Benelux region, traveled from Milan to attend.

Senior physicians from Rampurhat Medical College were among the many luminaries from the laboratory and healthcare industries who attended the ceremony. The local community responded warmly and enthusiastically to the inauguration, which took place throughout the day and evening and signaled the start of a promising new chapter for MedSage in Rampurhat.
