In its opening game in the Indian Football Association’s under-13 State Youth League, Merlin Club Pavilion defeated Adamas University SA 2-1. For the first time, Merlin Club Pavilion is representing the league in the U-13 and U-15 divisions after receiving qualification from the Indian Football Association (IFA).

The U-13 and U-15 State Youth League 2024–25 will feature 39 clubs and academies, with the top 12 advancing to the Super Six Round Robin League. Each group’s top teams advance to the semi-finals. The football field at Merlin Rise will host Merlin Club Pavilion’s home games.

10 teams in Group 1 and 10 teams in Group 2 of the U-15 age group make up the State Youth League. In a similar vein, the State Youth League consists of nine teams in Group 2 and ten teams in Group 1 for the U-13 age group. In the U-13 age group, Merlin Club Pavilion will compete in Group 2, and in the U-15 age group, in Group 1.

U-13 Age Group –  Two (2) groups are formed from the teams. These two groups’ teams will compete against one another in a round robin format. The top three teams from each group will then compete in the Super Six Round Robin League, which will culminate in a semifinal and championship match between the top four teams. The losing teams from the semi-finals will also play for third place. For this age group, all games will be 9-a-side.

U-15 Age Group – Two (2) groups will be formed from the teams. These two groups’ teams will compete against one another in a round robin format. Six (6) teams will compete in the Super Six Round Robin League after the top three (3) teams from each group. In addition, the champion and runners-up will be decided by the final between the two (2) best teams from the Super Six Round.
