Mission Mangal To Celebrate Power of The Women Scientist
Actor Akshay Kumar seems to have taken upon himself the responsibility to do films which not only inspire but also entertain the people. After tales of heroism in films like Airlift, Rustom and Kesari , his next film Mission Mangal, celebrates the power of the women scientist and their achievements.
The actor said that he is inspired when a film is made on such an exemplary incident. He plays the role of the senior scientist in the film based on the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) scientist who worked on the Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM).
The film’s teaser released recently to a tremendous response and Akshay feels it’s time such stories are told. Not many people knew that NASA sent a satellite to Mars for close to Rs. 6000 crore and ISRO did it in only Rs. 450 crore. He also highlighted on how with the use of a little common sense, ISRO saved so much money.
