Aakash Aath announced the launch of a new mega serial, Modhur Hawa & Bou Churi, the 7^th story in the series Sahityer Shera Somoy.

In Sahityer Shera Shomoy, Modhur Hawa and Bou Churi draw inspiration from the outstanding writings of Bengali writers Sri Pracheto Gupta and Sri Prabhat Kumar Gupta, respectively.

The story of the Sanyal family, who live under one roof with all four generations living together, is told in Modhur Hawa. Niharanjan Sanyal, a teacher at a school and a devoted follower of the actress Kanan Devi, is enamored with her beauty and inventiveness, living in the nostalgia of his time. On the other hand, the audience will witness a bitter-sweet family chemistry where there is joy, sorrow, conflict, and the painful picture of the changing dynamics of family relationships due to the generation gap and today’s tech-savvy social lifestyle through the characters of Niharanjan Babu’s wife, her children, and their third generation.

Modhur Hawa is directed by Anindya Sarkar. The cast consists of Arijit Guha, Gopa Nandi, Subhasish Banerjee, MousumiChakbraborty, Subhojit Banerjee, Shatabdi Nag, Swarup Dey, Shreyoshi Biswas, Pritam Das, Aarna Dhar, SabujBardhan, Jayitri Banerjee, Shekhar Pal, Saikat Das, Riya Das, Ayshree Mukherjee, David Mitra and Montu Das.

The three main characters of Bou Churi are Mandakini, Anath, and Indubala. The protagonist of the tale is a young newlywed who becomes caught up in a labyrinth of mystery and deceit. As the narrative progresses, viewers will be taken on a unique journey in which genuine love triumphs over all obstacles. Bou Churi’s story truly captures the time when modernism and growth had not yet reached their peak in terms of advancement for both our society and its citizens. For both the filmmaker and the performers who play key roles, bringing to life an image of that specific era on television is an enormous challenge. The personalities of Indubala and Anath are very different from one another, and their goals for the future and life are also very distinct.

Bou Churi is directed by Bijoy Jana. The cast consists of Ayanna Chatterjee, Riaz Laskar, Rajarshi Mukherjee, Bonhi Chakraborty, Tanishka Tiwari, Deepanjali Mukherjee, Keshav Mukherjee, Sangita Ghosh, Ayush Majumdar and Parboni Burman.

Modhur Hawa and Bou Churi will be telecast only on Aakash Aath, from 5^th August 2024, every Monday to Saturday at 7 pm and 7:30 pm, respectively.
