Leading snacks brand from Eastern India, Mukharochak, which started its journey from Tollygung Tram Depot in the year 1950, completed 70 years recently. To commemorate the celebration, the company launched a book and a theme song that talks about the journey of the brand and the philosophy of healthy eating at its Gobindapur (Near Baruipur) campus.

The sprawling 7 acres campus produces one of the most hygienic and healthy snacks that ranges from Chanachur,Tea Snacks(Chowkhas, Nimki), Ethnic Snacks( Bhujia, Aloo Bhujia,) to Tiffin Snacks(ChaalBhaja,Diet Chira, ChiraBhaja, Masala Muri),Cocktail Snacks(Salted Peanuts, Dhania Peanuts, Cashew Nuts)etc among other popular products.

The song has been penned by renowned poet Srijato Bandhyopadhyay and composed by acclaimed music director Joy Sarkar. The song has been sung by Nachiketa Chakravorty.

The book ‘Golpota Mukharochak’ has been penned by renowned journalist Anilava Chatterjee that covers the journey of the last 70 years, with the rise and expansion of the brand and along with anecdotes hitherto unknown to the people.

Everyday all employees at Mukharochak practice spiritual studies and meditation before joining work by means of which they pass a positive vibration through the products they produce. Cleanliness is also a part of this practice.

The future plan of the company is to spread the horizon of the business all over the country and beyond and as a part of its expansion plan they are heading more and more towards export.

This press launch will be followed by a celebration at Science City Auditorium on January 18, 2020 (Saturday) from 5 p.m. onward.
