Mikhail Anand is the son of the late Mukul Anand, who has directed films such as Agneepath (1990) and Khuda Gawah (1992). Mikhail has cast National Award-winning actress Divya Dutta along with Natasha Bharadwaj and Eshaan Shanker in his directorial debut ‘The Dinner Invite’ (working title). The short film is produced by FNP Media.

Debutant director Mikhail Anand wanted to approach every moment on set with the same passion and conviction.

When asked about late director Mukul Anand said that he felt a little pressurized as he was following in the footsteps of someone who has been so successful in making amazing films. he wanted to concentrate on making good films and to make his own legacy.

Actress Divya Dutta is looking forward to the release of films- ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Sharmaji Ki Beti’ next year.
