In today’s turbulent times, Alokbortika is an attempt to find the great compassionate light from the darkness.

Sanjukta Bera’s Tagore songs touched the melody, retaining the image of the poet’s thought. Prabuddha Raha, a well-known Rabindra Sangeet singer, also contributed to this album. With his recitations, well-known elocutionist Sujoy Prasad Chattopadhyay brought back memories of incidents that occurred at various points in Tagore’s life and led him to enlightenment.

This is a comprehensive work on Tagore. Surajit Das is responsible for the entire musical arrangement. The video is available on the Times Music Bangla YouTube channel.

The Satyajit Ray Auditorium at the ICCR in Kolkata hosted the release of this album. To commemorate the auspicious occasion, Oikantik organized a concert called ‘Jeebon Debota.’

The songs were performed by Prabuddha Raha and Sanjukta Bera, and Sujoy Prasad Chattopadhyay‘s narrations tied the entire presentation together. The anchor was Shyamoli Acharya. Surajit Das and Partha Mukhopadhyay provided musical support.

Atanu Ghosh, a National and International Award-Winning Film Director, was the special guest of the day. Well-known figures from the music industry graced the occasion.
