On World Music Day, 21st Of June 2019, music director and composer Pratik Karmakar released Tu Hi Hai Maula in all the digital music stores. The EP has two songs – one in an EDM version and the other one in an unplugged version. This is his 7th Album and till date Pratik has 42 original compositions to his name.

Since the sale of physical albums has reduced drastically, Pratik’s decision to sell the songs digitally is an innovative way to support the idea of digital India.

The songs of Tu Hi Hain Maula are bilingual. Both the songs of Tu Hi Hain Maula has been written, composed, music arranged and programmed and mixed/ mastered by Pratik in his own Studio. Pratik has also written and performed a Rap in the song which is in Hindi. The song has been sung by Pratik along with Zee Bangla Saregamapa 2013 runners up and his close friend, Ashmita Kar with newcomer Dipu Saha. The songs will be released by Rooh Music.

The USP of the album is the use of electronic music fused with Indian and Carnatic instruments along with a rap. This type of fusion has never been heard in Bengal before.
