Acharya Jayanta Bose is a renowned name in the history of Indian music. Many renowned artists of today’s times have been his students while some have learned from him by listening to his musical compositions. To make his musical compositions reach more people and students, Acharya Pariwar is a musical series that will be available in the New Year on Acharya Jayanta Bose- BMS Mindmiles YouTube channel.

A press conference was organized to announce this musical series. Gracing the press meet was Acharya Jayanta Bose, Manomay Bhattacharya, Srikanta Acharya, Soumya Bose, Saptak Bhattacharya, Sampa Kundu, Subhankar Bhaskar, and others.

The special attraction is in the first episode is that the episode will be hosted by Pandit Tanmoy Bose and he will introduce all the artists. He will start the series with a harmonium solo and he will be accompanied on the tabla by Acharya Jayanta Bose.

Manomay Bhattacharya said, “I have learned music from him for 13 years and I wanted to work with him so much. After 35 years, I got the chance to work with him on such a wonderful project. I am glad that this finally happened”.

Srikanta Acharya said that he was like those students who learned from Acharya Jayanta Bose from a distance. However, he doubted whether he will be able to be a sophisticated musician like Jayanta Bose.

Maahirii Bose is the daughter of Acharya Jayanta Bose. She will be presenting the Acharya Pariwar. The idea of visualization and post-production will be handled by Maahirii Bose.

The cinematography will be done by Saikat Sarkar and the still photographs have been taken by Romit Bandopadhyay.

With this series, the audience will be transported back to the golden era of Bengali music.
