Director Anindya Bose’s debut short film Virus is a twenty-six minutes film that was screened at 26^th Kolkata International Film Festival.

Virus is about three friends who are attached through a thin thread of relationship. They communicate through video calls during the lockdown. One friend finds a unique way to avenge his grudge on the other two friends. This scars their lives thereafter. What happens next?

The film has been produced by Anindya Sahar Production. The editor of the film is Rupak.

Speaking at the press meet, director Anindya Bose said “This idea came to me suddenly during the lockdown. I was smoking a cigarette and was walking on the roof. It is then that this idea struck me. The entire film has been shot using mobile phones. When I saw the film on the big screen, the resolution was good and no one could tell that it was shot with the help of mobile phones”.

The director revealed that his next will be a feature film that will be a musical.
