The Nameg Calendar 2022 that was launched recently will bring out the essence of Bangaliana. Nameg, the fashion store, located at 56 Raja Basanta Roy Road, near Southern Avenue swimming pool showcased twelve of its most coveted hand-woven sarees.

The calendar features 12 different Bengali looks of the yesteryears in Benarasi, Muslin Jamdani, Cotton Jamdani, and Bengal handlooms. It was conceptualized and executed by city-based PR consultant Supreeta Singh. It featured actress Richa Sharma, models Tanisha De and Sushmita Roy with makeup and styling by Kaushik and Rajat.

Each month features a special saree in a look and feels that brings back the elegance and style of yesteryears. Pearls, gems, and other elegant jewelry have been paired with the stunning sarees trimmed with lace and teamed with tulle blouses.

Nameg empowers women by employing them and sourcing materials from them. This year, they are looking forward to Women’s Day when they plan to celebrate their workers, who are an essential part of Nameg.

This era of vintage fashion is timeless and Nameg wanted to celebrate that classic sense of being fashionable.
