Nameg Fashion Calendar 2023 Pays An Ode To The Seasons
A homage to the seasons is the theme of the Nameg Fashion Calendar 2023. The turning of the seasons adds a distinctive touch to our lives as the year spins slowly and gradually, giving us a range of experiences. The ceaseless cycle of the seasons connects us to nature and helps us make priceless memories. From the chilly winter to the happy spring, beautiful summer to euphoric monsoon, heartwarming fall, and back to winter.
This reminds me a lot of Nameg‘s exquisite drapes. Every one of the individually made sarees has a tale to tell. Chanderi silks, Benarasi Katan silks, cotton kesapat Assam weave, kalamkari tussar silks, hand-painted sarees, and Bengal cotton handloom sarees in a wide variety of colors, including pink, white, green, yellow, blue, red, black, orange, mauve, and others, attract the attention of buyers.
The calendar was launched in the presence of the co-owners of Nameg, Meghali Barua Lahiry, Rupali Barua, and Namita Dashora with the team responsible for the calendar production.
It has been conceptualized by Supreeta Singh. The makeup, hair, and styling have been done by Kaushik Rajat, and photography by Subhadip Samanta and the team.
Speaking at the event, Supreeta Singh said “It was a great feeling to be a part of this calendar. We were just ourselves at the calendar shoot. Sarees look good on every woman. Whether you are tall or short, aged or young, a sari makes every woman look good. And this is what has been highlighted in the calendar”.
The sarees and jewelry are by Nameg.
Apart from the owners the calendar also features Supreeta Singh, Sushmita Roy, and Sonali Chakraborty and raises a toast to women achievers.
Nameg is located at 56A Raja Basanta Roy Road and also has Cafe Narumeg on its rooftop.
