On July 1st, South City International School celebrated National Doctors‘ Day with great gusto, honoring the remarkable contributions made by medical professionals. The occasion served to preserve the memory of medical professionals who have dedicated their careers to serving the public good as well as to recognize the commitment, empathy, and knowledge of those who toil diligently to protect our health and welfare.

With careful planning, the celebration was designed to accommodate children ranging from Lower Nursery to Class 8. The Toddlers, Lower Nursery, and Upper Nursery students brought a charming touch to the occasion by dressing as miniature doctors. Dr. Subhadeep from Narayana Super Specialty Hospital visited them and interacted with the kids, motivating them with his presence.

A group of physicians from Narayana Hospital performed an extensive health examination on pupils in Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade. The significance of health and wellness from a young age was highlighted by this effort. Teachers also gave the pupils health advice and a PowerPoint presentation to raise understanding of the origins and significance of Doctors’ Day.

Class 3 to Class 8 students participated in the festivities as well. For the doctors, the school prepared a unique program that allowed them to unwind and take in the celebrations. This was just a modest way of saying thank you for all of their hard work and support. The occasion was a great success, full of happiness and education. The school community had a great chance to unite and pay tribute to the doctors who improve our lives daily.
