Nayanta University To Bring Great Changes In Indian Higher Education

Classes at the innovative and brand-new Nayanta University are scheduled to start in August 2025. Nayanta was founded under the Maharashtra State Private University Act to redefine higher education in India by providing a revolutionary, fully residential undergraduate program that equips students for leadership in a world that is becoming more complex by the day.
Nayanta is dedicated to fostering the next generation of leaders and innovators, supported by a prestigious group of businessmen that includes Raj Dugar, Bharat Puri, Naushad Forbes, Kris Gopalakrishnan, Nadir Godrej, Meher Pudumjee, and Satish Reddy. The name “Nayanta,” which translates to “New Hope” embodies the university’s mission to promote constructive change and provide students nationwide with an innovative education.
In order to guarantee that no worthy student is turned away from the university because of financial limitations, the leadership team emphasized Nayanta’s dedication to a need-blind, merit-based admissions process.
At the press conference, Dr. Ranjan Banerjee, CEO of Nayanta Education Foundation, and Dr. D. Parthasarathy, Head of Academics at Nayanta Education Foundation underlined the rising need for top-notch educational establishments in India and conveyed assurance that Nayanta would be instrumental in fulfilling this need.
Together with real-world applications, Nayanta University provides a distinctive educational framework that combines the social sciences, humanities, and sciences. Nayanta will offer students unmatched chances for internships, mentorships, and placements in the business, government, and social sectors through its partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
