The story of Jannat is about a young man Sudarshan who after completing his law studies goes back to his home in North Bengal. He wants to start his career in North Bengal. The Hindu and Muslim community lives cordially in  Sudarshan’s home village in North Bengal. Jannat, the daughter of Qurban Ali and Sudarshan love one another. However, after coming back he learns that his friend Farhad is soon to get married to Jannat.

So he decides to move away from Jannat. However, due to Farhad’s interference, the marriage does not happen. He gives them shelter in his tea garden. However, they go away to Kolkata. Jannat is raped and she commits suicide. Sudarshan kills the police inspectors and takes his revenge. What happens next?

Directed by Nehal Dutta, the story is by Hasan Imam and the film is presented by Sonom Movies.

The cast of the film consists of Subham, Sarmistha Acharjee, Subhasish Mukhopadhyay, Supriyo Dutta, Barun Chakraborty, Premjit Mukherjee, Sujata Mondal, and others.

With this film, the director wants to show that even in today’s age, society does not allow couples from different religions to marry and live happily.
