New Bengali Film Get Up Kingshuk Deals With A Sleep Disorder

The press conference of the film Get Up Kingshuk, a film by director Nandan Ghosh, was graced by the director and the cast, and the crew of the film.
The story of the film is about Kingshuk, a man who hails from an upper-middle-class family in a small town in Bengal. He works in Kolkata. His trouble in life starts when he finds difficulty in his sleep cycle. He is unable to go to sleep early and rise early the next morning. This leads to an inferiority complex that plagues his happy life.
Director Nandan Ghosh’s earlier films were Postmaster (2018), The Shuffler (2018), and Gram (2019).
The cast of the film consists of Shahir Raj (Kingshuk), Anutorsha Mukhopadhyay (Jay), Sandipan Tapader (Raja), Arup Kar (Boss), and Kaushik Mondal (Pritam).
The music of the film has been composed by Anurag Dasgupta and Rupak Hore.
The producers of the film are Sangita Ghosh and Dipanwita Das.
Get Up Kingshuk was screened under the Bengali Panorama section at the 31st KIFF.
The film is 78 minutes long.
