A major milestone in the provision of cutting-edge and contemporary healthcare services has been reached by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation at ESI Hospital in Manicktala.

The hospital has a big and well-organized critical care unit with 52 ITU beds, including 19 state-of-the-art ITU beds that were inaugurated. Referring patients from other ESI hospitals in the state will benefit from this expansion, which will also lessen reliance on private tie-up hospitals and save the government a substantial amount of money. The government system will now provide cutting-edge, secure critical care services to members of the working class.

This new block was inaugurated by West Bengal’s Honorable Minister for Labor, Mr. Moloy Ghatak, Mr. Sujit Basu, Honorable Minister of State for Fire & Emergency Services, Smt. Supti Pandey, Honorable Member of Assembly, Shri Swapan Samaddar, Honorable Mayor in council, KMC, Mr. Abanindra Singh IAS, Secretary, Ministry for Labour, Mr. Achintyo Mandal, Honorable Regional Director ESIC, Dr. Indranil Das, Honorable Superintendent ESI Hospital Manicktala, Dr.Satyabroto Sarkar, and Dr. Atanu Bhadro ESI Hospital. 

This is a reflection of the government’s dedication to bolstering and promoting self-sufficiency in public healthcare, not merely an improvement to the infrastructure.

The government’s dedication to safeguarding working-class people’s health is demonstrated by this initiative. ESI Hospital, Manicktala, will surely grow into one of the state’s top government healthcare facilities, offering cutting-edge, superior services.
