Anuradha Mukherjee is returning to television, and this time, she will play the character of Khoai. She will be seen as a new character in Sohag Chand.

Following a difficult divorce, Khoai, a dedicated teacher, now lives with her daughter Kopai and her father. She is a highly successful and educated woman who is renowned for her openness. However, the fallout from her divorce has left her searching for inner peace and occasionally making her snap. She has to take care of her father and her child in addition to going through this emotional ordeal.

Kopai and her grandfather both want Khoai to find love once more.

A separate plot arc with Sayon (Jayprokash) is developing simultaneously. The fathers of Khoai and Sayon were looking forward to their marriage, but a sudden turn of events disrupted their plans. It’s interesting to note that Khoai’s father once served as the institution’s headmaster. Sohag decides to help Sayon and Khoai get married after learning about their potential equation.
