New Range Of Organic Clothes Khudey Launched; Clothes Made By Underprivileged Women

Tanuz Vocational Training Society’s new range of organic clothes, ‘Khudey,’ was launched with pomp and luxury at Science City Auditorium by fashion designer and social worker designer and  Anushree Malhotra and social worker Arpita Chakraborty’s N.G.O, Tanuz Vocational Training Society.

Tanuz Vocational Training Society is a nonprofit organization that helps underprivileged women and children in the slums of Dhapa.

Since 2020, the NGO has been working hard to empower women and educate the area’s poor children in order to improve their lifestyles and health.

This time, the women were involved in the creation of the clothes for their new organic line.

The clothes were made by underprivileged women, and at the launch of ‘Khudey,’ children from the slum area modeled dresses.

Many celebrities from the Tollywood industry attended the inauguration program, including Sudipta Chakraborty, Debjani Chatterjee, Chandreyee Ghosh, Sohini Sarkar, Sampoorna Lahiri, Sayantani Guha Thakurta, Anuradha Mukherjee, Om Sahani, Mimi Dutta, Gulshanara Khatun, and Remoo were among the celebrities who attended. Throughout the program, they encouraged the children.

The chief guests of this program were Sandipan Saha, councilor of ward no. 58 (Dhapa), Nivedita Sharma, and her husband Sushil Sharma, councilor of ward no. 65 (Ballygunge), Manisha Basu, and Bilal Khan, president of the South Kolkata District TMC Minority Cell.

Anushree Malhotra said,’ “Tanuz Vocational Training Society has launched a new venture called Khudey. We are embarking on a new journey of a dream project with this new organic clothing line. I am grateful to all of the celebrities who came to help make the event a success. Their encouragement motivates me to work for the common good”.

According to Arpita Chakraborty, “Tanuz Vocational Training Society’s new venture will produce organic clothing for small children. The designers of these dresses are real-life strugglers who are also very organic. The way that all of the women on our team, who are constantly dealing with hardships in their lives, assisted us in making this attempt a success and carried it out in such a professional manner is truly commendable, and I don’t have enough words to express my gratitude. Tanuz Vocational Training Society has been working for the people since its inception, and ‘Khudey’ is another step in that direction. I hope that all of you will join us in making this effort a huge success.”
