Rajkumar Sengupta, record producer & film music composer who works out of Mumbai right now, is coming up with an independent Bengali fun song for Poila Baisakh. It is called “Dewaler O Ache Kaan”, composed and written by Rajkumar in collaboration with Silajit Majumdar as an actor-singer & Rimjhim Mitra as an actor. The thought came to Rajkumar from an international film, and immediately,  he thought of casting Silajit and Rimjhim to pull off the quirk that was required in the video.

The song is a love song that says, ‘Dewaler o Ache Kaan, She Amader Shob Kotha Shunte Paye -Jhogra, Marpit, Chitkar, Prem, Bhalobasha, Ushnota’.

Black & White Records will release this song on all audio platforms globally. It was recorded and filmed in Studio Musical Doors (Kasba). Since Rajkumar owns Black & White Records, an independent music label, he hopes to continue releasing independent songs in multiple languages and working with artists more locally, nationally, and internationally this year.
