Nizami Brothers, a well known Sufi band from Delhi, will be performing at Bakstage on February 16, Saturday, 8 pm onward.

The young and dynamic musical group performs Sufi and cultural music. They have also been a finalist on the popular reality show India’s Got Talent. Their three lead singers – Faizan Nizami, Zeeshan Nizami and Khwaja Hasan Nizami belong to a family who are descendants of court singers of Mughal kings. They continue to take the age-old tradition and custom of spreading music forward through their melodious performance.

Bakstage, with its signature ‘Sufi Nights’ has been a pioneer in popularizing live Sufi performance in the city for almost five years now and every time to a packed house. This time too they have taken it a notch higher by getting Nizami Brothers to perform for the very first time in Kolkata.
