Sourav  Ganguly was announced as the brand ambassador of Bandhan Bank. He will be seen endorsing the products and services of the bank.

Also gracing the occasion was Chandra Shekhar Ghosh, MD, and CEO of Bandhan Bank.

Sourav Ganguly has been behind the transformation of the Indian cricket team in the early 2000s. Similarly, Bandhan Bank had also started from humble beginnings, and in a span of seven years, it has amassed the loyalty and trust of the customers.

Chandra Shekhar Ghosh highlighted how he had to face hurdles when he wanted to apply for starting a bank. He had to overcome those hurdles slowly and one at a time before he could start Bandhan Bank.

Sourav Ganguly said “I have seen the growth and development of Bandhan Bank from close quarters and I am proud of its journey. The journey of the bank shows what one can achieve through hard work, determination, and following one’s dreams. We all have our ups and downs but one must never give up. And that is the secret to get success in life”.

Bandhan Bank’s key focus areas in the next few years would be diversification of the asset portfolio, strengthening people capabilities, including hiring fresh talent, development of in-house technology, analytics, and digital capabilities, and the consolidation of CASA (current account savings account) by developing deeper customer engagement. The Bank also plans to open 551 branches this fiscal.

With Dada becoming the brand ambassador of Bandhan Bank, it is a fine example of two iconic brands joining hands together.
