The Bengali New Year, or Poila Boisakh, is just around the corner. A delicious food festival called “Nobobarsher Bhuri Bhoj” has been announced at Acropolis Mall to honor the spirit of the occasion. The mall has been decorated with traditional Bengali New Year decorations to welcome visitors and get them in the mood for the celebration.

Soumitra Ray, eminent singer and founder member of noted Bangla band Bhoomi inaugurated the festival along with K Vijayan, GM, Acropolis, and Homeland.

Nobobarsher Bhuri Bhoj would lure patrons with an array of innovative platters from brands like Hodol’s, Pithebilashi, Bhojon Bilashi, Turkisyano, Mitra Cafe, New Bharat Sweets, Tamarind, Roy Pan Palace, Digha Fish Corporation, Banglar Doi and many more.

The food festival has on offer a wide array of dishes like Mutton and chicken biryani, Fried rice and Kolkata Chicken Kosha, Bhetki Paturi, Ilish Kochuri, Ilish Biryani, Vetki Kochuri, Butter Bhetki Patisapta, Cheese Chicken Patisapta, Nolen Baked Patisapta, Mango Nolen Patisapta, Choco Nolen Patisapta, Mug Puli, Nolen Ice Cream Gokul, Daber Payesh and Ice Cream Lassi.

Speaking at the event, Soumitra Ray said “The smell of the delicious food is already so enticing. I am just waiting to taste some good food. I will urge food lovers to come and devour these tasty delicacies”.

The festival will start from 12th April and will continue till 16th April from 12 noon to 9 pm daily.
