National Small Savings Agents Association, India organized a press conference on The Demands against Central Government. The press conference was graced by Mr. Prithwish Bhattacharjee, National General Secretary (Admin) Mr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, and WB State General Secretary (Admin) Mr. Sinchan Chatterjee. They have 22 demands from the government.

About five lakh Agents are currently employed in the field of improving the collection of small savings through postal savings schemes. The Small Savings Agents are currently going through a very critical stage that puts their survival in jeopardy due to the altered situation and change in priorities. In addition to helping the country with a solid socioeconomic foundation, this issue involves providing food for five lakh families. The Department of Post or Central Government has been carrying out planned atrocities by the Post Office for the past eleven years under the guise of giving government directives to Post Office agents. That puts the lives of regular, diligent agents like them in danger, and they must endure terrible hardships.

The 5th Foundation Day cum National Conference will be held on 16th and 17th June at Sarat Sadan, Howrah. Delegates from 23 states of India will participate in the event and discuss the various demands of the organization.
