Is inner beauty more important than outer beauty? Or does your outer beauty more important than your inner beautiful self? This has been debated over times immemorial. Keeping in mind this idea, Star Jalsha’s new serial Ogo Nirupama is an unconventional romantic drama about a couple with contrasting looks and views on leading lives.

The protagonist of the story is Nirupama who is hardworking, positive and resourceful. She does not run after the beauty standards that society has pre-defined for women. Abir on the other hand is a handsome man who is unaware of his own talent. He allows his step-mother to exploit him for financial purposes. These two characters are poles apart in their looks and beliefs. Will they find love in each other?
