One-Day Special Training Camp For Infertility Organized
India, home to 145 crore people, is experiencing an increase in the number of childless people. From 3.35 in 2000 to 2.112 in the present, the birth rate has drastically decreased despite an increase in life expectancy. With a birth rate of barely 1.2, West Bengal has an even more concerning scenario, according to a National Family Health Service report.
At the Srishti Infertility Clinic’s annual conference, a group of committed gynecologists and infertility experts are hosting a training camp for aspiring medical professionals to address this problem. The one-day event will give participants practical experience treating infertility, with an emphasis on cutting-edge methods like IVF, robotic surgery, and ultrasonography.
Renowned medical experts, including Dr. Deepyaman Ganguly, Principal Scientist at Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, honored by the Vatnagar Prize, Dr. Sudeep Bose, and Dr. Nitin Chaubal, will lead the training session.
Because early therapy produces better effects at a relatively cheaper cost, Dr. Bose stressed the significance of early intervention. He promoted systematic testing to detect and cure underlying problems such as hormonal imbalances, tube obstructions, or cysts and linked the increased rate of childlessness to changes in lifestyle. IVF and test tube baby techniques can be investigated if needed.
A complex condition, infertility is frequently brought on by anomalies in the sperm or egg, fallopian tube abnormalities, or problems with the endometrial lining. To get over these issues, artificial reproductive techniques (ART) gather sperm and eggs and use them to produce embryos in a lab. It is imperative to increase knowledge about these possibilities.
