In a first of its kind, Zee Bangla’s singing reality show SaReGaMaPa has been creating original songs on their show. The shooting of the second song took place recently at DRR Studio.

Present at the occasion was music director Shantanu Moitra, lyricist Srijato, singer Noble, Srikanta Acharya and Jisshu Sengupta.

The theme of the song revolves around acid attack survivors. The aim of the song is to motivate them and encourage them to lead a good life in the future.
Two acid attack survivors graced the occasion and they extended their heartfelt gratitude towards the makers of the song for thinking about their plight and composing a song about them.

“When I heard about the acid attack survivors and how they run a NGO, it motivated me to come up with this song. I was actually trying to work with Noble for a song. But that was not happening. So when this idea came to me, I immediately thought about him in my mind and came up with the tune. I always need a story when I compose a tune. The same is the case for this song too. Srijato has written it wonderfully and Noble has sung the song immensely well” said Shantanu Moitra.

Noble was ecstatic about the fact that one of the judges had thought about him and took him in such a great composition.

Shantanu Moitra praised Noble and said that he could pick up songs easily and that quickened up the process of doing this song.

The competition is in its last lap now. Srikanto Acharya said “We are testing the participants very minutely now. All of them are very good. We have to be extra cautious now. Otherwise selecting the winner will be a huge problem for us. We are challenging them by giving them songs to perform which are out of their comfort zones. New styles are tried out by the contestants. We can aptly say that this is not only a competition but also a celebration of music”.

This song will be aired on 15th June on SaReGaMaPa.
