The trailer of the upcoming murder-mystery series ‘Murder in the Hills’ was released recently in the presence of the director Anjan Dutt, cast members Arjun Chakrabarty, Anindita Bose, Rajdeep Gupta, Sourav Chakraborty, Sandipta Sen, Suprobhat Das, and music director Neel Dutt.

Set in the backdrop of Darjeeling, the story revolves around the suspicious death of a Bengali film star of the 90s. The trailer reveals director Anjan Dutt in an important role in the series. ‘Murder In the Hills’ also marks his directorial debut in the digital space.

Darjeeling has always played a pivotal role in most of Dutt’s work and it is no different for his debut digital work.

The director has always believed in change and OTT is a new experience for him. He is confident that the series will reach out to the wide global audience of hoichoi. He strongly believed that OTT will be a very very strong contender to the theatre experience.

The main portions of the series were shot in Darjeeling and few interior scenes were shot at Kolkata.

The music has been composed by Neel Dutt and produced by SVF. ‘Murder in the Hills’ will begin streaming exclusively on hoichoi from the 23^rd of July.
