The forests of Italy have provided her with an abundance of produce, which has found its way into the cuisine and substantially enhanced the flavor, from the Alpine regions to the Amalfi coast. One such product is mushrooms.

Ottimo has come up with different forms of mushrooms as a part of their special menu, The House Of Mushroom for the month of January to celebrate this gift of Mother Nature. The chefs at Ottimo have creatively used different forms of mushrooms like Morrels, Truffle, Portini, Boletus, Shimeji, Enoki, White oysters field mushrooms.

The menu consists of

Primi boasts of an array of dishes like Double stuffed Fungi and white Asparagus Ravioli in sage butter, Pasta mista with mushroom Ragout, and Morrel Risotto.

The Secondi meal or the main course consists of Truffle scented Polenta with Funghi Ragout, Chicken Boscaiola, Duxxels stuffed Morrels with Peruvian Wild Garlic emulsion, and Black Cod with Enoki crust.

The wood-fired oven introduces pizzas and bruschetta made with these different types of mushrooms like Pizza Bianca, Confit Field mushroom and Blueberry Bruschetta and Artichoke stuffed Caramalised Portabello.

The Dolci or dessert section has the White Truffle Gelato with 12-year-old Balsamic Vinegar.
