Bondhu Ek Asha is a socio-cultural organization that organized for the first time a unique initiative at Yuan Restaurant, Kolkata.

On the eve of International Women’s Day, the organization took the initiative of providing sanitary napkins in the restaurant’s washroom. It is known as Pad Box in Tavern Restroom and will provide the women with sanitary pads if they require them.

Gracing the initiative was Mallika Banerjee, Shanti Das Basak, Anjana Dutta, owner of Yuan Restaurant, Pritam Sarkar, Nupur Roy, and Biplab Chakraborty.

The event has been praised by Parambrata Chatterjee.

With the help of this initiative, many women will be able to get sanitary napkins when they need them immediately.
