Pandavani is a traditional performing art hailing from the state of Chattisgarh. Teejan Bai is an exponent of this art form. Padma Bhushan Teejan Bai was in Kolkata to perform and also speak about the craft of Pandavani.

With the help of this art form, tales from the Mahabharata is performed with musical accompaniments.

Teejan Bai was awarded with Padma Shri in 1987, Padma Bhushan in 2003 by Government of India and others.

Dona Ganguly, Agnimitra Paul and other eminent guests graced the occasion and witnessed the riveting performance of Teejan Bai.
