A traditional Bengali festival known as Jamai Sasthi is observed by all Bengali homes. It is a happy celebration that celebrates a son-in-law’s (Jamai) bond with his wife’s parents. The celebration celebrates the wife’s parents’ passion and love for the son-in-law and normally entails a lavish traditional Bengali feast with a variety of foods and sweets.
