Inspired from the popular series by eminent Bengali writer Sasthipada Chattopadhyay, Pandab Goenda will be aired on Zee Bangla for the audience.

The series will portray the stories of a group of five teens who undertake various adventures to unmask social evils. Pandab Goenda will capture the essence of Bengali culture and serve as a mode of time travel when life revolved around adventures and outdoor life.

The stories in the series will show crime stories of loot, snatchings, kidnapping, drug dealing as its core.

The treatment of the series is adventurous, vibrant, full of vigor, and edgy. The outdoors will be vivid and specifically be captured in detail.

The protagonist or the leader of the group Babloo has a keen sense of observation. He loves the details and has brilliant analytical skills.

Bachoo and Bichhu are siblings yet they are poles apart. On the one hand, Bachoo is traditional at heart and mind but she is tech-savvy. Bichoo on the other hand is innocent, vibrant, vulnerable, and gullible. She has an elephant’s memory, be it numbers, faces, or anything under the sun. They hail from an upper-middle-class household.

Biloo is the rich kid with an industrialist father who is least interested in either studies or the business that he is to inherit someday. He is much more at ease with his friends, a world of adventure is his comfort zone. He is impulsive, physically aggressive, a lover of Martial arts, and wears a Nanchako like a wedding ring.

Every group has a foodie and Bhombol, the son of a sweetmeat shop owner is good at breaking codes and a sharpshooter with his slingshot.

Directed by Rahool Mukherjee, the title track music has been scored by Indradip Dasgupta and sung by Shaan.

The new serial will begin on 7^th September.
