Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee, a renowned percussionist, and composer who won the GIMA Award have been chosen as a voting member of the famous Recording Academy from Kolkata.

Most people recognize the Recording Academy for hosting the annual Grammy Awards. It has been designed to keep its membership diverse. He has been asked to participate in the Recording Academy’s events all year long and vote at the Grammys.

Due to his numerous musical endeavors, Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee is one of the most notable and well-known names in Indian classical and popular music scenes. His “Green Tabla” endeavor, in which he utilized his old, disputed tablas to create a planting medium. Together with Padma Bhusan Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, he received the GIMA award for their album Rhythm Express-Moods.

The song “Roshni Ho Sarhadon Mein,” by Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee, was just released and featured Padma Shree Anup Jalota, Kishore Sodha, Supratik Das, Neetu Saini, and Abhik Ganguly. Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee was overjoyed to learn that the Recording Academy had chosen him to serve as a voting member.
