Personal Loans with low-interest rates and easy repayment schemes have been launched by HDFC Bank exclusively for government employees. The loan can be applied for at any HDFC Bank branch or online at the HDFC Bank website. Loans ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 400,000 are available with no security or collateral. Customers who have been pre-approved can get a loan in under 10 seconds with no paperwork and a flexible term of 12 to 84 months.

The scheme was inaugurated for Howrah & Hoogly districts with a flag-off ceremony of the campaign van from Howrah Municipal Corporation. The Flag-off event was hosted by the HDFC Bank officials Mr. Maneesh Sinha – Sr. Vice President & Circle Head, West Bengal, Mr. Rahul Vijoy Singh – Vice President and Zonal Sales Manager, Personal Loans, Mrs, Anindita Banerjee – Vice President & Cluster Head, Howrah and was attended by other senior bank officials.

The van will visit all of the districts’ major government offices and educate customers about the initiative. The van will be occupied by a troupe of street performers who will portray real-life scenarios involving people seeking personal loans and how easily they can apply for one through HDFC Bank.
