Pharma Anveshan 2026- Focus On Future Of Pharmacy

In honor of the 124th birthday of Prof. Mahadeva Lal Schroff, who is regarded as the Father of Pharmaceutical Education in India, Pharma Anveshan 2026 was successfully held in Kolkata on National Pharmacy Education Day.
The Pharmacy Council of India, in collaboration with Flemming College of Pharmacy under the JIS Group, organized the event. To discuss the future of pharmaceutical education, research, and innovation, prominent academicians, pharmaceutical researchers, business professionals, and regulatory authorities convened at the event.
To create a pharmaceutical ecosystem that is prepared for the future, the seminar included keynote addresses, research presentations, and panel discussions with an emphasis on enhancing cooperation between academia, business, and regulatory agencies.
Gracing the event were Bodhisattva Banerjee – Director, FCP & Vice Chairman, GMIT, Debhasish Bhattacharjee, Zonal Co-coordinator, CC Member, Pharmacy Council of India, Dharmendra Singh, Zonal Coordinator, EC Member, Pharmacy Council of India, Jashubhai Hirabhai, Chaudhari, Vice-President, Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Dr. R.N. Gupta, National President, IPA, and Subhankar Das, Executive Chairman, Global Knowledge Campus, Krishnanagar, Nadia.

“Pharmacy education in India is entering a transformative phase. In addition to encouraging young professionals to contribute to innovation and research in the pharmaceutical industry, platforms such as Pharma Anveshan help to strengthen collaboration between academia, industry, and regulatory bodies,” said Jashubhai Hirabhai Chaudhari, Vice President of the Pharmacy Council of India.
“Initiatives like Pharma Anveshan play an important role in fostering dialogue among stakeholders of the pharmaceutical ecosystem. To guarantee high-quality education, professional excellence, and the future expansion of the pharmacy profession in India, such engagements are crucial,” said Dharmendra Singh, Zonal Coordinator and EC Member of the Pharmacy Council of India.
Additionally, the event gave researchers and students a chance to present their work through academic interactions and scientific presentations, promoting innovation and knowledge sharing in the pharmaceutical industry.
As Pharma Anveshan 2026 came to an end, attendees engaged in networking activities that reaffirmed the industry, academia, and regulators’ shared commitment to advancing pharmaceutical education and healthcare innovation in India.
