Philanthropy Press Conference Of Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata
At the 9th edition of the world’s first World Athletics Gold Label 25K, the Tata Steel Kolkata World 25K Kolkata, the people of Kolkata united to commemorate #AamarKolkataShonarKolkata and promote the “Spirit of Giving”. Together with Impact360 Foundation as its philanthropy partner, the event’s philanthropy pillar has continuously increased its charitable impact by giving NGOs more authority and offering a cause-neutral platform that supports a variety of SDGs.
In addition to being the largest sporting event that encourages participation, the TSW 25K Kolkata aims to change the world by involving every person, young philanthropist, and business in the greater social transformation.
To date, INR 24.90 Lac has been raised for charity at the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata with the assistance of 30 NGOs, individual fundraisers, 8 corporates, and hundreds more donations. This edition’s fundraising will run through January 3, 2025. Numerous social concerns, including education, healthcare, the environment, livelihood, elder care, gender equality, and animal welfare, have gained support thanks to the platform.

Since 2014, the platform has helped more than 75 NGOs that support a range of problems in the Northeast and East regions of India generate INR 4.39 crores, improving the lives of millions of people.

Although it is a source of immense pride to be the first WA 25K race in history, the event’s legacy lies in its capacity to influence and transform society.
