PhonePe announced a 150% growth in transactions during the recently concluded Big Billion Days sale.

The PhonePe platform processed transactions worth Rs.100 crore in a single day with over 50 transactions per second at peak. UPI payments saw phenomenal growth and accounted for over 55% of all payments done on the platform during The Big Billion Days.

The PhonePe app has seen rapid acceptance across all cities in India. This includes metros and all tier 2 and tier 3 locations as well. Users from all 29 states and 7 Union territories transacted on the PhonePe app during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days this year.
