The virtual press meet and the Chakala Wakala song launch of 7Kadam were done in the presence of Amit Sadh, Ronit Roy, music composer Harshit Saxena, and Indian footballer Baichung Bhutia.

The story of the web-series 7Kadam is about a father and a son who share a common love for football. The generation gap between the father and the son is also shown in the web-series.

Speaking at the song launch, Ronit Roy said “Parents often fulfill their dreams through their children. Amit Sadh who plays my son in the web-series has done justice to the role. I met the director of the web-series at a coffee shop. Halfway through the story, I got out of the coffee shop. I did not want to cry in front of the people. I felt great excitement after listening to the script. To portray the character, we have used Bengali words as it is in the web-series”.

Amit became nostalgic and shared that his father was a national-level hockey player. He also highlighted the fact that both mental and physical training is important for a sportsperson.

“It was a privilege to work with Ronit sir. I had worked with him in a film earlier. I had to say disrespectful dialogues in that film. I used to feel very uncomfortable then. However, he comforted me and asked me to go on with the lines. I love him for the support that he has given me” said Amit.

Baichung Bhutia was ecstatic that a web-series on sports and that too on football was being made. “My son is training to become a footballer at my academy. I am keen to watch the series and also to see the father-son relationship. When I told my parents, I wanted to become a footballer, they were against the decision. At that time, it was not thought to be a wise career choice. However, times have changed and now I am encouraging my son to become a footballer” said Baichung.

The entire team of the series was looking forward to the release of the series soon. The series can be watched on Eros Now from 24^th March.
