With the goal of democratizing access to high-quality, reasonably priced education throughout India, Physics Wallah (PW), the country’s top multinational edtech business, has announced the opening of more than 75 new offline tech-enabled learning centers in Academic Year 25–26.

Vasundhara Thakur, Centre Head, Newtown Vidyapeeth, Suvra Bhattacharjee, Deputy Regional Academic Head, and Pushparghya Roy, Centre Head, Gariahat Vidyapeeth graced the press conference to announce this news.

Among other states, these additional centers would be located in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. Building on its current 126 Vidyapeeth and Pathshala centers, this development essentially increases PW’s offline reach to 200+ centers across 141 cities. With an emphasis on students in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, PW hopes to expand access to high-quality education through this planned expansion, reaching underprivileged regions nationwide.

The two models that make up PW’s offline section are Vidyapeeth (VP) and Pathshala (PS). Students attend in-person classes taught by qualified teachers at Vidyapeeths, which are tech-enabled offline centers. With its distinctive two-teacher method, the Pathshala model presents a more creative strategy. Students at Pathshala centers attend in-person lessons given by instructors who are virtually present, with a second teacher on hand to answer questions and provide clarification. Regardless of where they live, students can take advantage of the experience of well-known educators thanks to this model. PW seeks to continuously provide high-quality education throughout the nation by fusing digital and physical learning environments.

The third iteration of the National Scholarship Common Admission Test (NSAT) 2024 was recently organized by Physics Wallah (PW) and was available online and offline. A scholarship fund was set out for students who cleared the exam. This program seeks to educate and guide students who want to do well on the NEET-UG and IIT-JEE exams.
