Pijush Saha is the man who gave many big names to the Tollywood film fraternity. He will be launching a new face again this year. You must be wondering who he is going to launch. The person he is going to launch is his own son Prince Prachurya in his upcoming Bengali movie ‘Jaalbandi’.

According to the director, ‘Jaalbandi’ is going to be a different movie from all the films that he has directed before. The film is based on the novel Jaalbandi by eminent Bengali writer Samaresh Majumder. Apart from Prince, the movie also stars Paayel Sarkar, Darshana Banik, June Maliah, Pampa Saha, Dipankar Dey, and Kharaj Mukherjee in pivotal roles.

Prince had seen his father producing and making films from a young age. He met famous actors and actresses and he was impressed by them. This motivated him to learn new things regarding acting. He regards his father as his idol.

The story of this suspense thriller is about Anish who takes up a job in an insurance company. He starts providing service like an agent and at the same time has to deliver on a promise and assure security to the helpless. But the course of his life changes in 72 hours. He understands the exact value of life and relationships. What happens next?

Darshana Banik’s overall experience of shooting the film was very good. The shoot began after the pandemic, and so there were many protocols that they had to follow. She requested the audience to see the movie in theatres.

Paayel has a layered character in the film. She is an accomplished woman who is smart, very clever, and takes care of everything. She has a loyalty to relationships. She is quite paradoxical really. The actress liked the script and she wanted to work with Pijush Saha for a long time. The high point of the film, according to her is that it is full of twists and turns. One can never predict what is going to happen next.

The DOP of the film is Gopi Bhagat. The music of the film will be composed by Amit-Ishan.

The film will be releasing on 3^rd December.
