Plan Your Next Vacation To Kerala & Enjoy Its Beauty
The partnership meet of Kerala Tourism was organized in Kolkata recently.
PK Sooraj, Information Officer, Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala graced the event.
At the partnership meet, a number of travel trade networking activities were also organized. Starting from Visakhapatnam in late September, B2B trade meets will be planned in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Surat, and Rajkot in October.
Some of the highlights of vacations in Kerala include Kerala’s houseboats, caravan stays, jungle lodges, homestays, plantation visits, Ayurveda-abased wellness solutions, countryside walks, and different adventure activities.
Kerala has been featured in TIME magazine as one of the 50 extraordinary destinations to explore in 2022, Global Vision Award by Travel Plus Leisure magazine, and many more.
Kerala also has some innovative products like IPL-model Champions Boat League (CBL) races. The third edition of the annual IPL-model CBL that will begin later in September will help in boosting domestic footfalls in different parts of the state.
The state has been taking numerous steps to increase momentum in the post-pandemic upsurge in domestic tourist arrivals in the state.
Kerala Tourism also has bagged the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Award for an effective messaging strategy for outside markets. Their award-winning campaign “Make up for lost time, pack up for Kerala” has been designed for visitors who are traveling again after the pandemic.
Different dance forms of the state like Theyyam, Kathakali, Mohiniyattam, Kalaripayattu, and others were showcased at the partnership meet.
Through such trade fairs and roadshows, the different offerings of Kerala can be showcased to travelers.
