The play “Chandrahoter Kutir” was staged recently at Minerva Theatre.

The play is by famous writer Rabisankar Bal.

In an attempt to appreciate the grandeur of a mountain on a moonlit night, the hero of “Lotus Eater” breathed his last on the snow. Who is “Moonstruck” or “Chandrahata”? The real and the fantastical embrace as Manotosh and Basho cross paths on the opposing faces of the same mountain. Magical moments emerge from the embroidered layers of Marquez’s mystical world throughout the production.

It was directed by Prithiwis Rana.

The cast of the play consists of Partha Sarathi Sarkar, Nilanjan Ganguly, Moumita Dutta, Raj Rakhal, Pralay Dutta and many others.

Debraj Bhattacharya has composed the music of the play.

It was a great play indeed.
